You never know what Korean kids will say.

As this story illustrates, initiating an English conversation is a high hurdle for many Koreans. However, I can't help but ask myself why anyone would approach a stranger in the first place. So the solution is simple: don't do it; especially if you are unsure of your ability.

Besides, is it possible to identify an English speaker simply by looking? How can you tell if the native tongue is English simply through visible input? There are representatives from many countries and many languages here in Korea. It sounds like a good opportunity to learn different views.
